Manual upload? #328
Comments
I had the same problem. |
I use xdrip+ which has upload to tidepool feature, for some reason xdrip isn't syncing and I was able to export all my readings as CSV and was looking for a way to sync it manually. Question posted 2016, related comment 2017, related comment 2021. Spending a bit of time in the docs but not finding anything. Regardless, unfortunately it's going to be easier for me to try to get xdrip uploading again then it will for me to discover where the api endpoint is and to use it to upload my readings... was hoping to find a hidden option to upload csv |
Doing some research on this topic and posting updates as I go. The https://github.com/DorianScholz/OpenLibre repo is not maintained anymore, the https://github.com/galekseev/OpenLibre is the one to look at. What am I looking for?
Options that I'm considering (in no particular order):
|
I think you're going to have to build it or use xdrip, there's no csv
function that I found when I looked.
Probably isn't an impossible integration if you have the time to spend on
it. I don't know where the docs are anymore but in my last comment I
mentioned I couldn't find one on uploads. I bet one could look at the
source for xdrip to get a good idea if the docs on upload API are not
helpful.
This is something I might be interested in building as well, if it really
would be helpful for many people.

Any comments and ideas are welcome!

Note: only the OpenLibre app for Android is supported (no iPhone support)

Upload data to Tidepool
- from a MacOS
- using a Libre (not yet Libre 2) sensor
Options that I'm considering (in no particular order):
- use the CVS exporter from the
- build something myself, ideally using APIs to integrate with
existing tools (I know how to do some coding, mid-difficulty)
- use the xdrip+ option mentioned by @kaburkett

Plus, if we build it this month in October we can use it for Hacktoberfest***
Edit: corrected octoberfest to hacktober fest to clarify my meaning

@tjotala @HowardLook can you tag this hacktoberfest for us? Any other things like this can be tagged to work as well |
Perhaps I'm late to the party here, but at least by now, CSV upload from LibreView is supported via the TidePool uploader. Rather confusingly, the "device name" is "Abbot LibreView" which means you can't easily find it in alphabetical order given that it's referred to as "LibreView" everywhere else. But it does work to upload CSVs downloaded from LibreView. |
This will no doubt help someone in the future thanks

Hi there!
I currently use a Freestyle Libre and am looking to upload data to Blip. Is there a way to manually upload a CSV if I conform it to a specific format?
Thanks!
