I heard somewhere that there are talks with Amazon about including pgvectorscale in Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL.
Any news on that?

I’m asking because for many people (myself included), the answer will determine whether I want to invest time in testing the extension.

@kargal thanks for the question. We are working on getting pgvectorscale on Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL, as well as other public cloud Postgres offerings from GCP and Azure.

I can't publicly share any timelines yet, but proof points like this help demonstrate demand for adding the extension, and accelerate the process.

I'd like to bump this thread for enabling pgvectorscale on GCP CloudSQL too
