Summary

docker run tiredofit/freepbx-latest don't seem to work, but eats up tons of RAM(~44GB in my case) and stall

Environment

  • Image version / tag: :latest and :15
  • Host OS: Debian 11

Possible fixes

  • Something is broken, or potentially image or resource fetched from URL is compromised
  • Current implementation downloads external installation files, having known-good prebuilt on the hub might help

@numpad0 ,
I'm not familiar with that partiular version, but that is over 2 years old. I would suggest you use the version here, which would be tiredofit/docker-freepbx:latest. I've been playing with it for a couple of weeks, and it works very well.

The hub image latest doesn't work for me either.

I think the first problem is in the freepbx dist download. Is it the case that they deleted all the releases? I'm new to the community, so I don't know the history.

It seems like it would at least download something if changed to https://github.com/FreePBX/framework/archive/refs/tags/release/<version>.tar.gz. This is probably already fixed in other versions, since nobody else is complaining.
I broke my container networking. The image is fine. This issue can probably closed since there are no details or repro steps.
