FMG failed to get build number #23
Comments
Hi, can you confirm what type the model of FortiGate is and what FMG version you're running? Does it work if you add the model device using the GUI? |
tmorris, |
sorry i meant if you add a model device in the GUI and use the enforce firmware option in the Add model device wizard, does that work when you connect the 40F? I cant see anything obviously wrong, i'll tty to test it with FMG 6.4.10 and a 60F tomorrow. |
it will take a couple days to complete but I'll try adding 40F from GUI add model device wizard and share the results. |
Thanks, I tested on a 60F with FMG 6.4.10 and the auto-upgrade worked as expected, upgraded in 6.4.2 to 6.4.9 using 6.4.9-b1966 in the upgrade_ver field. |
Ok. Thanks for checking. We'll double check things from our end. |
Hello tmorris,
Our file specifies 6.4.9–b1966 as the Upgrade_Ver but receive errors in FMG debug output during deployment.
Failed to get build number by release 6.4.9–b1966
upgrade status: failed, firmware: 6.04 release: 6.4.9–b1966 build: 0
percent=100%[Image upgrade failed]
Can you help understand why build field does not receive build number?
