Hi,

I am just going through the preparation to set up this tool and I have a question relating to the set-up section of:

"APRS Usernams" and "APRS Passcode" can be created on http://http://www.george-smart.co.uk/wiki/APRS_Callpass If a valid username and passcode are not suppled it will exit immediately.

When I go to the specified URL there seems to be no option to create a username but just a passcode, would you know what I should do here?

Also minor type in the URL hyperlink itself.

Thanks

Firstly can I suggest you use the Github Repository "OGN-Flogger-V5.0" as this is the most up to date and uses Python 3 not 2.7, the version you are trying to setup is many years out of date. Thank you for pointing out these errors. I've just followed the link to the Passcode generator and notice it doesn't mention "APRS Usernams" (slight spelling mistake duly noted - thanks) but "Callsign". Remember the APRS system comes from a Radio Ham background which tends to use Callsign rather than my computing background which tends to use Username for a similar purpose. I've just tried Callsigns of "ABCDEF", "ABC" and "A99T34H" and get results, but not actually used them in setting up an instance of OGN-Flogger as I have values created many years ago; maybe that's the problem. I also tried the link referenced in OGN-Flogger-V2.2 and it worked. So at the (correct) APRS link provide a "Callsign", eg any sequence of letters and numbers and it looks like it results in a Passcode so provide these in the fields "APRS Username" ("Callsign") and APRS Passcode ("APRS Passcode") respectively. Hope that helps, if not, let me know. If it doesn't something has changed since I wrote the code and may need to be fixed. Rgds
