Push/Pull Indictor Persist with Github Sync #2320
Comments
This is very annoying. Last time I pushed changes and when I restarted back plugin offered me to restore unsaved changes. I did and it didn't match my last push. Luckily I restarted plugin and ignored the restore message and it pulled the correct tokens, but the notification badge is still there. |
This user dealt with a similar issue but it ended up being a CORS issue: Slack Thread |
This issue as it is solved in RC7 and I believe this is a duplicate ticket. @cuserox can you please close or merge as required? (: |
This seems to be present with Gitlab atm with RC7. Still running some tests |
@keeganedwin can you recheck and close if the issue is solved? |
@rbosker I still experience this occasionally |
This issue was solved in a previous release with this issue, #2652 |
Describe the bug
Users are experiencing a persistent display of the blue indicators (when using Github sync) on making changes in the plugin. This seems to happen irregularly or at intervals after no 'specific' actions carried out and leads to confusion.
(There have been other users in the past who have complained about this but more with Gitlab than with Github)
To Reproduce
This is a tough bug to reproduce as neither the user or I am sure as to what is causing the plugin to display the indicators at all times. I've not experienced this while using Github, but I'm wondering if it has anything to do whit a large token setup.
