Overview

There are instances of two proteoforms having the same exact mass and having two amino acids switched.

Example:
YG22B and YF21B

Proposals

We could notate this in several ways:

  1. PRO(T/E)IN, where the order of the two amino acids are not known
  2. PRO{TE}IN, where amino acids within curly brackets are in an unknown order
