To create a template for a pleadings packet (which might include documents like an answer, affirmative defenses, deposition notices, etc.) using Python, you can automate the process using the python-docx library. This approach involves identifying placeholders within your document (e.g., [CLIENT_NAME], [CASE_NUMBER]) and creating a script to replace these placeholders with actual case-specific information.

Steps to Create and Use a Template with Python

1.	Prepare a Word Document Template:
•	Start by creating a Microsoft Word document (e.g., pleading_template.docx).
•	Use placeholders like [CLIENT_NAME], [CASE_NUMBER], [COURT_NAME], [ATTORNEY_NAME], [AFFIRMATIVE_DEFENSE], etc., wherever you want dynamic content to be inserted.
2.	Use Python to Replace Placeholders:
•	Use the python-docx library to open the Word document, find these placeholders, and replace them with case-specific details.
•	Save the modified document with a new name to reflect that it is specific to the current case.

How This Script Works

1.	fill_pleading_template() Function:

2.	Replace Placeholders:

•	Saves the modified document to the specified output_path.
