With animation smoothing on, the arms and legs just stay in position like they are stuck.

Same happens here, have you found a fix?

It's some mod messing with the setupAnim method, breaking that NEA knows when it needs to update. Without the info on which mod is causing this, I can't work on a solution.

Alright. I'm gonna try troubleshooting which mod could cause the issue.

For future reference, it doesn't seem to be Physics mod(neither normal nor pro version).

Someone mentioned in a Chinese forum called 'MC Wiki' that this problem might be caused by the 'Rubidium' mod. Please check it if possible.

In my game I installed the 'Embeddium' mod and I have the same animation stuck issue.

Noteworthy that Rubidium and Embeddium are both unofficial and unsupported Forge ports of Sodium.

Haven't had any reports of this in ages. Still unable to reproduce it.

Yea it seems to be fixed when I updated all my mods to 1.21.1 on a clean install of Minecraft. Could've been everything. But I haven't had the bug yet.

Sooo. I was finally able to reproduce the issue and isolate it. It happens whenever you place a banner with the cloth physics on from the Physics Mod. When you turn off the cloth physics for banners, the bug is gone. I can't 100% tell if its only the Pilager banner or all of them.

I uploaded a video for you to review it. But also try to reproduce it yourself :) https://youtu.be/zl55WobJjZc

Then bestcase report that finding to the physics mod. Not sure how/why it could cause that behavior, they will know that better.
