I had Trakt set to auto sync after a library update. When that happens, many times (but not all it seems) Kodi is unusable. "Busy" appears in the upper left corner and I am unable to do anything really. If I am in a series and press the down arrow to select the next episode, it will go down but then right back up. I can't play a video. This resolves after the sync which can be 3-5 minutes.
I've tried this on multiple skins. My library is not particularly large (1k movies, 5k episodes).
I don't see anyone else having this problem so I am not sure why I am having it. Is there a way to throttle Trakt to not use all the CPU when syncing?
In my Kodi log I see this:
[script.trakt] trakt.interfaces.base: Request failed: "POST /sync/history" - 429: "Rate limit exceeded" (Rate Limit Exceeded)
