Terminal not closeable on installer

Using the latest TrueOS unstable (as of today) and trying the following steps:

• boot the installer
• click terminal button
• click file -> exit

expected behavior: terminal closes and disappears from view
actual behavior: shell appears to "shutdown" but outline and terminal still visible, but non-responsive to clicks
