I installed the theme from Gnome. I noticed that a weird pixel line surrounds the window that's transparent. Which looks something like this. Can I please get some guidance here to how can I remove this outline? I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

That's the border outline on the window, How experienced are you with editing GNOME themes? You just need to change the border outline color to not be partially transparent.

Literally zero experience, I did go through the CSS but couldn't find the attribute that was causing this. I'm using gtk3.

Edit: I did comment out all outline-color:transparent lines in gtk.dark.css, although this doesnt work

I'll look into it, but check out sass/gtk-3.0/widgets/_window.scss, I think the problem is in there. If you make any changes to that file, be sure to run grunt which will rebuild the CSS from the SCSS files.

Ummm, what's grunt used for?, and how do I set it up?

Edit: I did install it globally, but can't seem to run it in the directory

grunt tells it how to turn the SCSS files into CSS files for GTK-3.0.

Running grunt didn't work, I tried setting border-thickness as 0 but no changes were shown
