[Feature Request]: Sync Plex watch status with TubeArchivist #24
Comments
Recommendation noted. We will see if this interaction is possible. To-do:

This one is really important I feel. Hope time can be found to implement. Tks for your work on this plugin Lamusmaser. |
I would like this feature, mainly so I can use the auto delete watched for some channels. For my use case running it as a cron checking the status daily would be enough, and I imaging much easier than a real time sync, and could be a good first step for this feature |
Expected to be built into v0.2.0 as a primary feature of the release. |
@lamusmaser any progress on this one? This is about the only feature stopping me from using tubearchivest more and more |
I've had other obligations and haven't been able to develop against it. It is still in my plan to do so here within the next few months, all things going well. |
I've read the documentation.
Your Feature Request
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
When using Plex to watch TA content, you must manually mark videos as watched to use TA features such as auto-delete.
Describe the solution you'd like
When a video is watched on Plex, the watch status should be updated in TA to match. In Plex, the watched status can be set by watching a video or using the mark as watched or as unwatched menu options. This change would allow you to use TA with the Plex plugin like the other media collection managers.
Additional context
If real-time syncing isn't an option, then a scheduled job would be an acceptable solution.
