Implementing templates with pointers removes pointer

Let's say this is your class:

class Person {
  MyCustomList<Person*> children() const;
}

When you implement that children function with srefactor it will look like this:

MyCustomList<Person> Person::children() const {
  MyCustomList b;

  return b;
}

I also personally think that there shouldn't be any placeholder information put in between the curly brackets but I am curious what others think about that.
