Thanks.

And perhaps publish a new version at F-Droid by creating a new release here since it looks like the 8bt MK2 is already supported in the code by using the Mighty Lite MK2 Amp in Mightier but this change is not yet available at F-Droid (or some other later fixes/changes that make Mightier usable for the 8Bt Mk2 - eg. with the current F-Droid version I cannot changed the profiles in the app- nothing happens):

String get productIconLabel => "LITE II|-|8BT II";

I have just tested the debug version mightieramp-debug-18.11-part2.apk from this comment and it does not work with 8bt mk2 (and I didn't expect this since the latest release version is newer):

#76

Anyhow I guess this commit from April 2024 is required to support 8bt mk2 again:

fix incompatibility with later revisions of some amps

So I kindly ask for a new release (or alternatively to build and provide a most-recent debug APK that I could test and give feedback here)...

@tuntorius I could test a pre-release version with my 8bt mkII if you'd provide an APK for me

Are there still plans to add support for these devices? It's been quite a while, looks like the author is not interested....

I have tested the most recent app release with my NUX BT8MKII and was not able to connect the app with my device.

The symptoms are:

  1. Android BT is connected to my NUX 8BTMKII using the default bluetooth name NUX NGA-8BT

  2. When starting the Mightier App the bluetooth icon in the app blinks for a few seconds and then stays grayed-out (= no connection?)

  3. The Mightiger debug console (activated by tapping 7 times on the App Version label in the settings) shows:

    [BLE permissions granted!]
    Devices found []
    BluetoothState.on
    BLEMidiHandler:Init()
      found! rssi: -79
    NUX NGA-8BT found! rssi: -54
    Devices found []
    ...

    Note: The rssi may vary in the log (other values were -79, -54, -82, -64, -91, -90]

  4. Using NUX Mighty Lite MKII instead of Mighty 8 BT in the App settings did not work neither (same symptoms)

It looks like the Mightier App does not recognize the device due to a non-whitelisted ID.

@tuntorius What could I do to provide you the missing ID(s)? I am able to use amidi to send MIDI and SysEx commands and I am also able to sniff the USB traffic containing MIDI commands via Wireshark but I don't know which SysEx command provides the output you need to make the 8BT MKII working (or at least being white-listed in the App to allow further functional testing).
I kindly ask for your advice. THX a lot!

+1
Please add support for 20 mkii. Available for any test/troubleshooting you may need.
