Sorting people should not truncate the list of people

Bug Description

This is related to #8863 which was closed, but it still doesn't have the desired behaviour.
I have a list of 278 people. When I sort the list, only 124 of those people are visible, no matter how much I scroll. All of the people are not shown. Sorting the list should still show all of the people.

Expected behavior

If I have X people, when I sort the list by first name, all X people should show, sorted by first name.

@phjackl3 Thanks for reporting this! I couldn't reproduce the issue either. When I reach the end of the list, it shows a "Loading more" message before displaying additional entries. Can you give any further context / Can you join a video?
