Emotes being incorrectly displayed in chat

As chat messages arise in Twitch chat, emotes sometimes show up where they shouldn't be, and sometimes do not show up when they should be.

To reproduce:

One phrase I have found to consistently reproduce this problem is to type something like "Jim :(" or "Bob :(" (seems to be writing something before using certain emotes). I posted a picture of what I type vs what shows [up.]

Expected behavior

Using Android, up to date, Twire version 2.10.4

This happens with a lot more emotes. I notice in chat emotes are just not where they should be roughly a quarter of the time, not sure what the patter or cause it.
