Better explanation of what an F() expression is #8

In example 7.4, an F() expression is used, but also give barely any explanation as to what it is.

F() functions are cool, and it surprises me how few people seem to know about them. I wouldn't object to an overview being introduced; however, I'm not certain how much of an explanation would be justified.
