Recruiting: Dragonfly CTF #25
Comments
After they added a 2nd game, url has changed.
Q. Is this Nottingham game also for Solidity devs? Will draft the offer, share here for confirmation and then send out to all |
Since Puzzlebox has twitter profile links and we'll be DMing there, I think heres the optimal plan:

[DM text - TBC] Hi there! We are currently looking for talented developers and your profile really stood out. Would you be interested in helping us solve some Solidity-related issues? |

Iterating on this text will be much simpler in DMs. Unfortunately our Telegram "workgroups" feature is not in production yet (its a few weeks behind schedule) so for now we can iterate in our Telegram DMs. At a high level though, we need to stand out from all the other people trying to recruit them. Even I get a ton of automated messages from people trying to hire me as a dev. We need to emphasize the developer friendly-ness of our system, and that all the action happens directly on GitHub. That's what makes ours stand out I think. We also don't have any extra overhead regarding payment. Its as streamlined as we could have possibly made it. |
X open sourced their code for engagement when Elon took over. We should feed this into Claude 3.5 Sonnet and it can craft the perfect tweets for us. |

I'm opening this in my code editor lets see what I can derive. tweepcred seems interesting |
Tbh the aim of tweeting was not so much for external engagement as for the potential dragonfly leads checking the message > going to check ubiquity x page > seeing this comprehensive and non-clickbait tweet with the link (since there wont be any link in the first cold DM) |
I assumed that tweets would be part of the core outreach strategy because many folks have DMs disabled. |

We should build relationships with these talented Solidity developers: https://ctf.dragonfly.xyz/scores
Reach out to all of them with some type of compelling offer to get them to look at our https://devpool.directory
