With such large screens today, it would be useful to be able to toggle the font size to a larger size to make it easier to read.

Are you referring to screens with high resolutions (e.g. 2K/4K) or just the font size?

If it's the former, HiDPI support is experimental. Once this is fixed in the MATE environment, this will help Welcome become readable on such screens.

If it's the latter, Welcome already adjusts the scaling of the application based on the font DPI set in the MATE environment (under Appearance → Fonts → Details...).

No i'm referring to regular screens, like my 1366x768 screen. The default font will be sufficient for most, but just like being in a browser or word processor, being able to adjust the font size by changing the zoom level is beneficial when reading alot of text, which mate welcome has alot of.
