Font size doesnt affect Indent List markers

@felixfeng33, I feel when all text in a line or multiple lines in an indent list are selected, and the font size is changed for them, the font size of their corresponding markers or list style type, must also reflect the same. What do you think?

Apple's Pages uses the first character of the list item for this. No other character affects the mark font size.

The equivalent in Plate would be checking for a font size mark on the first text node of the list item.

Hey @12joan . MS Word has it, as I described above. But I guess, either strategy works, to change the font size of the marker. This will need to be a change in the Plate package right?

I don't have a copy of MS Word for reference, so I'm curious about how it handles the case where a single list item contains a mixture of font sizes? Does it have a default font size that it always uses when there's a mixture, or does it have some other rule to pick a font size from somewhere in the list item?

It wouldn't necessarily need to be implemented in a Plate package. If you want to prorotype it in your own app, you could put it in the list item component. The element prop passed to the list item component can be used to get the font sizes of its descendants.

@12joan So Word has a default marker font size, and handles the following cases:

1. If an entire list item(all text within it) has been selected, and then font size is updated, the marker for that particular list item is also updated.
2. If only selected parts of the list item are selected, and then font size is updated, marker remains unchanged.
3. The marker font size persists to it's successor, as long as its not updated as point 1.
