An academic bibliography for publications and datasets, and an institutional repository for publications.
- What is Biblio?
- Biblio Product – Evolution
- Building Biblio – Development Documentation
- Reuse of Biblio Metadata
Biblio contains 200 years of publications and datasets by Ghent University researchers. Biblio allows UGent researchers to add, publish and share their UGent publications.
Their bibliography gets reviewed and curated by librarian experts, to make sure the bibliography gets the highest possible quality.
-
Increased visibility –
Multiple platforms and research engines see Biblio as the highest quality bibliography for UGent research. The Biblio expert team actively supports visibility.
- The research will be easily found and spread though an array of search engines.
- The research will be picked up and promoted throughout different platforms such as Google Books and Altmetric.
- Grants – Based on the metadata found in Biblio, the UGent research departments qualify for grants to continuously finance and support knowledge gathering and sharing. Governments and public institutions make sure these grants are awarded to the departments and thus researchers (FRIS, BOF, VABB, OpenAire, ...)
- Connecting people – Biblio allows people to share expertise and connect to relevant peers.
- Curriculum Vitae – Biblio allows researchers to get a better picture of their UGent research contributions, and reuse the data in other platforms.
