Set field using table component

While listview may fit for some collections with bulk and entity actions, I wonder it is possible to add a field using umb-table component?

E.g. in a dashboard, content app or perhaps a property.

A use-case I have is a simple logs/audits as a child collection. But instead of child nodes/listview, could these just be shown in a simple table (of course paged in case there are many items).
