Nodegroup got rebuilds on every terraform apply

I'm using this module to create the nodegroups in my eks, the nodegroups are also using aws launch templates... problem that I'm having is that the nodegroups are getting rebuilt everytime I run a terraform apply... and I haven't been able to fix this behavior, everything looks good but having terraform to do this is really a bummer.

any help some could give me with this would be very helpful.
