Symbols are not centered over the geometry of points. This causes a position mismatch with the highlight.

The symbols used in point data are off-centered towards the north compared to the original point geometry.
The highlight is instead centered over the original point geometry.

• This should be corrected preferentially by forcing the symbols to be centered on the point geometry.

• In alternative, by generating the highlight around the center of the symbol used.
