game will randomly get stuck loading a world with replay mod installed

minecraft version: 1.16.5
forge version: 36.2.39
mods folder:

with replay mod installed, worlds will randomly hang on the loading screen.
a while ago, I installed the replay mod. since then, I have only opened these three worlds:

when I opened the two worlds circled in green, they loaded just fine. after that, I tried creating a new world (the one circled in red). however, that world just will not load. it gets stuck on this screen:

the game will remain on this screen for at least 10 minutes and I have to end the game with task manager. the problem disappears as soon as I remove replay mod.

thanks for making this, though. I've been looking for forge ports of the replay mod for a while now.
