In the book and corresponding file book/string.tex, Break(c) and Breakx(c) have the exact same description in table for pattern functions in "Pattern Matching" from "String Processing" chapter. There is a better description of Breakx in appendix A.6 "Pattern Functions". Tempted to patch myself but new here.

It looks like a typo. As pointed out by ronaldxs, the two entries in the table on page 50 are identical, but the description in the appendix is different. Looking at utr18c, the appendix reflects the discussion there. So I'd replace the description for breakx on page 50 with "like break but can also include characters from c if required for the success of a larger match".
