Running commands in parallel gives no intermediate feedback

For commands that take a while, no feedback is returned at all until servers get a green tick to show they're done.

Would recommend printing (even if all out of order) whatever output is coming from the worker threads at any given point. Can be useful to get a rough idea when things are going awry.
