I fixed it up a bit and put it in a grid.
i kinda want to add pictures as the background but it may be hard to source the pictures, because the links go to githubs, so some projects don't really have a logo associated with them.
also it may be better to make the whole div a link instead of the header being a link because the headers are a different color because they're links

Yes to everything. The images would be trouble. Maybe icons based on main programming languages used?

I think the h1 tags were over riding the color styling, and I introduced a different css class called project
