This is an issue to collect minor doc cleanups. It will be closed once the docs catch up with the list here as it grows.

Is imt allowed in titles? The grammar says not.

\imt is a title for the introductory section. It is therefore not part of the main title. The markup allows the Introduction section to be cleanly removed.

  • Main title group
    • \mt#
  • ( Introduction section (opt.)
    • \imt# (Introduction title group, opt.)
    • \ip , \is# and other introductory paragraph types
    • \imte# (Post-introduction Main title group, opt)
      )
  • Main text

I don't know if it changes the grammar at all, but I'm reasonably sure I've seen (in print) this sort of thing:

\imt1 An Introduction to the Gospel of John
\ip ...
\mt1 John
\c 1

Though having checked the 6 most likely suspects I could think of, I didn't actually find it on the bookshelf

No action. Let's keep \mt as a title.
