Existing Document Source tests are rightly focused on XDS metadata requirements. A second level of testing would cover:

  • Is the document that was submitted well formed (e.g., a CDA document)?
  • Does the XDS metadata properly derive from document content?
  • Does the document content match content required for a specific use case?
** Is it the right document type (C-CDA ..., PDF, ...)?
** Is the clinical content correct?
