Login Failure - Can't login to Gerrit Server

Hello,

I am using IntelliJ 2021.2.4 Community Edition and Gerrit plugin 1.2.5.-203 from the marketplace.

When using the plugin I am unable to login to our Gerrit server and I get the error below on Test connection:
Can't login to https://git.xyz.com:1234: com.google.gerrit.extensions.restapi.RestApiException: RequestFailed.

Is my IntelliJ version incompatible with Gerrit plugin? I am using my HTTPS generated password from Gerrit. On the browser I log in using https://git.xyz.com:1234

P.S. - Gerrit server version is v2.8.3

Right now, I do not have an idea what is going wrong here.

Are you using a proxy in the browser?

This version should be compatible.

I am not using a proxy on my browser (Chromium). Let me investigate if it has to do with my VPN.

@uwolfer have the same issue. Gerrit version 3.2.2, using OpenVPN to access network, Gerrit web server has an untrusted https certificate, but ive accepted it. I have only http credentials. Used last release of plugin. Any ideas why this is happening?
