How to install the latest code?

First of all, thank you for your work. For some reason, I need to use the max_allowed_length feature that was merged in PR #2439. I see that the latest version is 13.12, and this feature is not included. I tried to install the master branch, but it is not working.

Could you kindly tell me how to install the latest code, or if it's possible to release a new version, like 13.13, soon? That would be very helpful. I appreciate it.
