Hello Vantezzen,

great work you did here! Thanks for that, but I can not use it in my case right now thougj your extension is capable enough for this.

My problem is the following: My lecturers have shitty microphones so the average VU level is really low. When I set the Threshold to 1% it is still not enough sometimes and they are being skipped while they are talking. To prevent this we would need a tick to set the threshold range from 0 to 1% for example, or (the other way around) set a multiplier to the VU Level.

Also I wanted to use the Addon on local files and tried using an HTML5 Video player that plays local files. I used this first but it didn't work:

I ended up using this to play local files.

It works, but looks rudimentary.

Do you know good alternatives?

Oh and to make that clear: It is possible to hear my lecurers. Im not talking about a gain on the output volume but rather to the shown input level.. I think I may have explained it in a misunderstandable way
