Consider moving away from Google services or providing alternatives as the whole point of immich/selfhosted is going out of vendor lockins. #120

Hi @marko878, I understand the point here, but for parsing queries the llms are the best solution so far as they understand the context.

I've also searched for some local llms that can run in any machine but couldnt find one. I'm open to suggestions if you've some inputs for using alternate local models for this.

Also this is just an optional feature and Immich power tools is more of organizing the immich data and those features can without without any external services, even without a connection to internet.

MapLibre can only provide the code and tools. Data services are a very different thing

Hmm. @varun-raj could we use the OSM API for the Geo Heatmap feature instead of using Google Maps?

e.g., https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Heat_maps

I would really like to avoid my maps showing something idiotic like "Gulf of America" as per recent Google accommodations to our President...
