Request to change how quitting the game works

Currently, if you choose to quit the game (either in-flight by hitting "q" or in a base by choosing "Quit Game" in a computer), you get dumped to the desktop. I would really like to see both of those choices return to the main menu, then if you choose "Quit Game" from the main menu, you get dumped to the desktop. Sometimes, you just want to start a new game/campaign, or launch a different saved game (especially if you choose the wrong saved game by mistake). There's no way to do that now with shutting down and restarting the whole game.

that should probably be a goal for 1.0 status.

Sounds good to me. I don't see it as anywhere an immediate requirement, but would be nice to have somewhere down the road.
