I've been asked by two separate clients to setup vouchers with specific or limited expiry dates.
Whilst it's not that hard to setup a custom solution using an event it would be much cleaner if the expiry could be set along with the general voucher meta data rather than as custom fields.
What's your proposed solution?
Add optional expiry fields to the meta panel with options for:
Global (default)
Duration in months
Date
Additional context
No response

At the moment, we only have global, but happy to look at adding it at the voucher type level. Do you think that would be sufficient, or it should be added at the individual voucher level?
I actually think it would be more important on the individual voucher level rather than type.
We always try to have few types and then just add additional options and overrides to individual vouchers – it's a lot more flexible that way. Similar to the stock request, it's mostly about special offers and limited sale vouchers of the standard types.
