How to retry requests on failure when using useSwrMutation?

I am using useSwrMutation and its trigger value to send a POST request. This works correctly but I want to be able to retry on error. If this fails I would like to retry the request up to 3 times? I am a bit confused on the best way of doing that

How i set up the hook

  const update = useSWRMutation(generateTrolleyEndpoint(), trolleyRequest, {
    throwOnError: false
  })

How I call the trigger

    update.trigger({
      type: 'POST',
      trolley: { productId, quantity, bundleItems }
    })

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
