Timeline doesn't update reliably in Ivory (macos)

I'm having trouble getting the timeline to reliably update in Ivory (on macos). Yesterday, it took a few attempts but eventually loaded. Today it's not loading updates at all. (Newest post in Ivory is "1d" old. Newest post on web is "16m" old.) I've tried "Reset Account Cache" in Ivory and nothing happened.

It looks like the problem is specific to "Timeline" as opening an individual user's page shows newer posts.

closing and re-opening the column it's in seems to fix it (at least temporarily). also scroll back seems to go <24 hrs, but that may be intentional.

I've been having issues, likely connected to the uptime problems (which are unsurprising given the surge in new users) but I'm now finding that the timeline isn't reliably updating even when the server is up (and I can, for instance, open a thread and look at it). There's some chance at least at the moment the issue is actually "missing posts" rather than a full failure to update?

Checking on my phone, it seems more reliable in the ios app than on macos so part of this may be on the Ivory end.
