Encoding the dataset

Can you please provide the code you have used for encoding the dataset used. I have attempted to use LabelEncoder but that doesn't seem to work.

Just replace each term with an unique number.

Can you kindly upload the dataset you used for the project? I have tried replacing each term with a unique number however, the code doesn't work. I also tried using one-hot encoding on the NSL-KDD dataset but I get errors.

The datasets are publically available. These are standard datasets used for network intrusion detection and I don't think I have the permission to upload other datasets.
