VCL missing from spack install #19439

@pbrady VCL is usually always built, maybe the overall build was incomplete? Can you share what the installed directory looks like? |

I was able to successfully install visit on a remote computer using the spack spec:
visit%[email protected]+osmesa ^adios2~python~fortran ^[email protected] ^[email protected]
However, it appears to be missing some needed components. When I run with
--debug 5
on my local machine I get the following output:Version 3.3.3 of vcl does not exist for the architecture linux-x86_64
And sure enough, if I log onto my remote machine I get the following:
Its not clear from the recipe how to ensure that
vcl
