Browser Mode Configuration Documentation Seems Outdated

The current documentation at https://vitest.dev/guide/browser/ shows the following configuration:

// vitest.config.ts
export default defineConfig({
  test: {
    instances: [
      { browser: 'chromium' },
   ],
  }
})

However, in newer versions it seems we should use:

// vitest.config.ts
export default defineConfig({
  test: {
    browser: {
      enabled: true,
      name: 'chromium'
    }
  }
})

Current Vitest version: 3.0.4
@vitest/browser version: 3.0.4

Could someone confirm:

1. Which is the correct/current way to configure browser testing?
2. If the documentation needs updating?

Why do you assume we need to use the second one? Did you try using it? Did you see any warnings in the terminal?

The issue was resolved on my end by removing node_modules and reinstalling dependencies.
