From Image -> Sketch -> create empty image automatically? #1105

As I understand "From image -> Sketch" feature:

I first need to create an empty image outside of automatic (optimally with dimensions fitting the width and height in generation parameters)
I then need to load it into the Sketch canvas
I then can paint on it

Would it be possible to let automatic create the empty image automatically (and dynamically if the width x height values change)?
