repository selection dropdown has inconsistent behavior

the behavior of the drop down at http://bellevue-ci.eng.vmware.com:8282/ is inconsistent. when initially viewing the repos we see the popular repos. when you filter to "dockerhub" there is nothing to display. clearing the filter, things don't get updated. clicking on the refresh icon, updates properly. In addition, when selecting the left nav, the filter should clear to show the default view.
