This is not exactly an issue but would it be possible to upgrade to an N-1 system for patches?

We have created an issue in Pivotal Tracker to manage this. Unfortunately, the Pivotal Tracker project is private so you may be unable to view the contents of the story.

The labels on this github issue will be updated when the story is started.

BTW -- these pipelines are are work of art. I do some concourse work but these are really amazing.

@bdfrost What exactly do you mean by upgrade to N-1? Stemcell, opsman, or PAS (or all)?

I really mean 'all'.

I don't think we can programmatically support N-1 upgrades (I would be difficult if possible within concourse). You should, however, be able to hard code the version you're using, and do a fly sp -p when there were updates. Not as nice from an automated standpoint, but would accomplish the intended goal of using most recent-1 releases,.
