base : Updating the guest operating system - Failed to update apt cache: unknown reason

Is it possible to configure a http proxy for apt (Ubuntu) before the Ansible task base - Updating the guest operating system is executed?
In our environment, the created VM can only update the apt repositories with a http proxy.
I think ansible/roles/base/tasks/ubuntu.yaml is the right place for it. But maybe there is a better solution for this?
Otherwise the updating the guest operating system task will fail:

Configure the proxy option in user-data.pkrtpl.hcl file for Ubuntu. Refer to https://ubuntu.com/server/docs/install/autoinstall-reference.

You could modify the project to inject the proxy as a variable (or hard code the setting).
