Hi

Is support for godot 4 (alpha) already made?
I would like to test the imported in godot 4 but not sure how to do it (and if it works already)

thx

This add-on doesn't support Godot 4.0. In fact, it doesn't seem to support Godot 3.2 and later correctly right now: #114

I don't think vnen has plans to update this add-on, especially since Godot got new built-in TileSet and TileMap editors in 4.0 (with much improved usability).

I would like to update, but honestly I barely have time for this as it is, so I won't promise anything for now. I would appreciate if other contributors would help me with this.

For 4.0 it'll certainly need a new branch as things have changed a lot. Also, as Calinou said, there's less reason to use an external too since the built-in editors are much better now.

For my RPG I am using Tiled and I do not have plans to update to Godot 4 for it, so this addon is becoming a critical part of my project. I might become more active here and contribute more and more. Not for Godot 4 I am afraid, though. I agree with @vnen we definitely need a new branch and perhaps someone could "jump into the water" and try out to make it compatible with Godot 4.0

I'm interested in this too, thinking of attempting it sometime

Hello there. Not sure if this counts, but recently Tiled was updated with export options for Godot 4.

Besides, there is this alternative that works with Godot 4:
