This issue is used to collect topic suggestions for our July 4, 2024 meeting. We will stop accepting suggestions ~48 hours before the meeting and the final agenda will be added to the meeting notes doc ~24 hours before the meeting.

The content below this line will be copy-pasted to the agenda section of the meeting.

Please add #536 to discuss if any alternative proposal can be found to address the very important use case which has currently no solution, since Google just declared its opposition, seemingly because it partially overlaps with some 2 years and half old initial work which is not available anywhere AFAICT (please correct me if I'm wrong) and would not fully solve the problem anyway.

It would be good to quickly discuss #649, mostly to align on the method name. There seems to be a general consensus forming but it would be nice to decide as a group.
