Contributions Guideline

Thank you for considering contributing to FlutterGPT! We welcome all kinds of contributions, including bug fixes, new features, documentation, and more. By contributing to FlutterGPT, you are helping us build a better VS Code extension for Flutter developers.

Coding Standards

While there are no special coding guidelines for FlutterGPT, we ask that you keep your code standardized and follow best practices for TypeScript development.

Tools and Technologies

FlutterGPT is built using TypeScript and uses Gemini PRO APIs. Familiarity with these technologies is helpful, but not required. We use Gemini/Bard/ChatGPT to write a lot of code for the plugin and encourage contributors to do so too!

Submitting a Contribution

To submit a contribution, please follow these steps:

  1. Create a fork of the FlutterGPT repository.
  2. Make your changes in your forked repository.
  3. Submit a pull request (PR) to the main FlutterGPT repository.
  4. Your PR will be reviewed by our internal team, who will provide feedback and merge it if it meets our standards.

Issues

We encourage users to create issues on our GitHub repository if they encounter problems or have ideas for new features. Our internal team will review these issues and prioritize them based on their importance and feasibility.

Contributors

We value the contributions of all our contributors and will mention them in our contributors list.

License

FlutterGPT is released under the Apache-2.0 license. This allows you to use FlutterGPT for any nearly any purposes you'd like. Read the license details for more information.

Documentation

We will create documentation for FlutterGPT in the future. For now, please refer to the README file for information on how to use the extension.

Thank you for your interest in contributing to FlutterGPT! We appreciate your help in making our VS Code extension better for Flutter developers.
