how to customize colors?

pretty much title. I would like to customize the colors, maybe make a high contrast scheme

the faces used exist within the frog-menu and avy packages. you can customize them. look for the defface declarations in these files:

i'm sorry but i've been looking at this for a while.. defface is still one one of those things that I've never looked too much, so i'm a n00b there. can I get a hint? I just want frog-jump-buffer to have white background and black foreground
